Artist's Description
I love the total image of the tree from roots to branches and how they reflect one another's reach for energy; one, to the sky, and the other, to the earth. The ancient saying referring to the non-physical world is "As above, so below". This is also another of my versions of the Tree of Life, filled with energy and beauty, top to bottom. The image is #4 of 50 limited edition prints.
About Jacqueline Shuler
Since opening Jacqueline Originals in 1971, I have spent most every day in creative activities. I love to draw, paint, do calligraphy and any combination of these skills! Recently, I have added digital painting to my list, spending hours in my studio now that I'm retired from a lifetime of teaching art. I own a Microsoft Surface Studio tablet which allows me to draw/paint directly on the surface and see the results immediately. I can also use these images as underpaintings for my acrylic creativity. I had a fifty-year retrospective exhibit in 2018 to celebrate my 80th birthday.
