I like the high contrast between the cool green earth and the warm yellows and reds of the sunrise. Having visited Ireland, birthplace of three grandparents, I was impressed by the greens of the landscape. This is the first in a signed and numbered limited edition of 50.
Since opening Jacqueline Originals in 1971, I have spent most every day in creative activities. I love to draw, paint, do calligraphy and any combination of these skills! Recently, I have added digital painting to my list, spending hours in my studio now that I'm retired from a lifetime of teaching art. I own a Microsoft Surface Studio tablet which allows me to draw/paint directly on the surface and see the results immediately. I can also use these images as underpaintings for my acrylic creativity. I had a fifty-year retrospective exhibit in 2018 to celebrate my 80th birthday.
