When I was asked to hand-letter a blessing for an Irish baby, I found none, so I composed this one. I have also written it specifically for a boy or girl. I created a custom one for twins, one of whom did not survive; a memorial. May all children be graced with daily love!
Since opening Jacqueline Originals in 1971, I have spent most every day in creative activities. I love to draw, paint, do calligraphy and any combination of these skills! Recently, I have added digital painting to my list, spending hours in my studio now that I'm retired from a lifetime of teaching art. I own a Microsoft Surface Studio tablet which allows me to draw/paint directly on the surface and see the results immediately. I can also use these images as underpaintings for my acrylic creativity. I had a fifty-year retrospective exhibit in 2018 to celebrate my 80th birthday.
