This beautiful description of the pilot's feelings describes the heady experience of flying in a most unusual way. Because of the last line, "And I have touched the face of God", this quotation has been read at funerals. I studied the words a long time before I decided to letter them in a flowing, almost flying manner. They are shown over a sky photo I took here in Colorado

Since opening Jacqueline Originals in 1971, I have spent most every day in creative activities. I love to draw, paint, do calligraphy and any combination of these skills! Recently, I have added digital painting to my list, spending hours in my studio now that I'm retired from a lifetime of teaching art. I own a Microsoft Surface Studio tablet which allows me to draw/paint directly on the surface and see the results immediately. I can also use these images as underpaintings for my acrylic creativity. I had a fifty-year retrospective exhibit in 2018 to celebrate my 80th birthday.
