I wrote this to celebrate our Family Reunion in 1991. The family unit is the foundation of society.. It is the first place an infant knows love and is the foundation for a healthy adult life. Love begins in the home, and all the family members benefit from its power.
Since opening Jacqueline Originals in 1971, I have spent most every day in creative activities. I love to draw, paint, do calligraphy and any combination of these skills! Recently, I have added digital painting to my list, spending hours in my studio now that I'm retired from a lifetime of teaching art. I own a Microsoft Surface Studio tablet which allows me to draw/paint directly on the surface and see the results immediately. I can also use these images as underpaintings for my acrylic creativity. I had a fifty-year retrospective exhibit in 2018 to celebrate my 80th birthday. My day starts with quiet time in meditation; I find that my mind is inundated with creative thoughts and ideas, so I need some time to get centered. I have...
