Artist's Description
I originally hand--lettered this beautiful collage of torn paper to symbolize the richness of the earth. which Chief Seattle loved. "Whatever befalls the earth befalls the children of the earth." In 1855, our Native Americans truly understood the interrelationship of humans to Mother Earth. She cannot take much more pollution.

Since opening Jacqueline Originals in 1971, I have spent most every day in creative activities. I love to draw, paint, do calligraphy and any combination of these skills! Recently, I have added digital painting to my list, spending hours in my studio now that I'm retired from a lifetime of teaching art. I own a Microsoft Surface Studio tablet which allows me to draw/paint directly on the surface and see the results immediately. I can also use these images as underpaintings for my acrylic creativity. I had a fifty-year retrospective exhibit in 2018 to celebrate my 80th birthday.
