Product Details

The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.

The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall.   This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.

Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.

We make no warranties that the mask prevents infections or the transmission of viruses or diseases.

This ancient mythical bird, the phoenix, who arises out of its own ashes, is a great symbol of us as a planet, burning in the fires of the pandemic, only to rise again, alive and renewed.

Artist's Description

Each morning, as I watch the sun rise in all its glory, having "died" in setting each night only to be reborn in rising the next morning, I am reminded of the phoenix, a mythical bird representing transformation, death, and rebirth in its fire. As a powerful spiritual totem, the phoenix is the ultimate symbol of strength and renewal. As both a fire and solar symbol, the phoenix animal guide is symbolic of the sun,.The Egyptians associated the phoenix with immortality, and that symbolism had a widespread appeal in late antiquity. It was also widely interpreted as an allegory of resurrection and life after death—ideas that also appealed to Christianity.
The phoenix is a great symbol of us as a planet, burning in the fires of the pandemic, only to rise again, alive and renewed.

About Jacqueline Shuler

Jacqueline Shuler

Since opening Jacqueline Originals in 1971, I have spent most every day in creative activities. I love to draw, paint, do calligraphy and any combination of these skills! Recently, I have added digital painting to my list, spending hours in my studio now that I'm retired from a lifetime of teaching art. I own a Microsoft Surface Studio tablet which allows me to draw/paint directly on the surface and see the results immediately. I can also use these images as underpaintings for my acrylic creativity. I had a fifty-year retrospective exhibit in 2018 to celebrate my 80th birthday. My day starts with quiet time in meditation; I find that my mind is inundated with creative thoughts and ideas, so I need some time to get centered. I have...
