Artist's Description
As a painter/calligrapher, I enjoy creating fluid strokes on a soft, wet background. I feel this painting represents the elegance of the lotus or pond lily. The lotus is a symbol of enlightenment. While it is rooted in mud, it open to the light. I enjoy meditating on this image, knowing its meaning.

This painting was originally created as a unique digital image by me on a Microsoft Surface Studio tablet. It is a signed and numbered image in a Limited Edition of 50. The notation, “4/50” means that it is the fourth print of only 50 in existence.
