When I was asked to hand-letter an Irish Wedding Blessing, my research showed that there wasn't any wording suitable, so this is my own creation. On my trip to Ireland, I saw many crosses with carved knotwork, This is my version, with hearts interwoven down the center. The calligraphy is tenth century Celtic
About Jacqueline Shuler
Since opening Jacqueline Originals in 1971, I have spent most every day in creative activities. I love to draw, paint, do calligraphy and any combination of these skills! Recently, I have added digital painting to my list, spending hours in my studio now that I'm retired from a lifetime of teaching art. I own a Microsoft Surface Studio tablet which allows me to draw/paint directly on the surface and see the results immediately. I can also use these images as underpaintings for my acrylic creativity. I had a fifty-year retrospective exhibit in 2018 to celebrate my 80th birthday.
