Artist's Description
I composed, designed, and hand-lettered this original Irish Wedding Blessing. Having three Irish grandparents, I have become interested in creating Irish blessings. I lettered this in 10th century Celtic, with the Celtic cross I saw in Ireland. I revised the design to include the hearts down the center. The lettering style is tenth century Celtic.

Since opening Jacqueline Originals in 1971, I have spent most every day in creative activities. I love to draw, paint, do calligraphy and any combination of these skills! Recently, I have added digital painting to my list, spending hours in my studio now that I'm retired from a lifetime of teaching art. I own a Microsoft Surface Studio tablet which allows me to draw/paint directly on the surface and see the results immediately. I can also use these images as underpaintings for my acrylic creativity. I had a fifty-year retrospective exhibit in 2018 to celebrate my 80th birthday.
