I designed this never-ending circle to show the relationship to inner peace, power
and balance. Each enlivens the other, balancing the positive with the negative, as shown on the yin-yang symbol in the center. Our inner peace arises from the inner balance of our spirit, which is also our inner power. The invisible creates the visible.
Since opening Jacqueline Originals in 1971, I have spent most every day in creative activities. I love to draw, paint, do calligraphy and any combination of these skills! Recently, I have added digital painting to my list, spending hours in my studio now that I'm retired from a lifetime of teaching art. I own a Microsoft Surface Studio tablet which allows me to draw/paint directly on the surface and see the results immediately. I can also use these images as underpaintings for my acrylic creativity. I had a fifty-year retrospective exhibit in 2018 to celebrate my 80th birthday. My day starts with quiet time in meditation; I find that my mind is inundated with creative thoughts and ideas, so I need some time to get centered. I have...
