I hand-lettered this quote in Renaissance Italic, over a photo of a man walking on a fog-filled road. The image reminds me of the fact that we cannot often see what's coming next in life. The quote emphasizes the importance of being aware daily of the needs of others, and acting in the present to be kind.

Since opening Jacqueline Originals in 1971, I have spent most every day in creative activities. I love to draw, paint, do calligraphy and any combination of these skills! Recently, I have added digital painting to my list, spending hours in my studio now that I'm retired from a lifetime of teaching art. I own a Microsoft Surface Studio tablet which allows me to draw/paint directly on the surface and see the results immediately. I can also use these images as underpaintings for my acrylic creativity. I had a fifty-year retrospective exhibit in 2018 to celebrate my 80th birthday.
