This beautiful Hawaiian language blessing is hand-lettered with the English translation under each line. It's all about love in practical things, kindness and forgiveness, a moving tribute to the power of love. I used the Hawaiian beach photo with a rainbow, as it is a symbol of hope.
Since opening Jacqueline Originals in 1971, I have spent most every day in creative activities. I love to draw, paint, do calligraphy and any combination of these skills! Recently, I have added digital painting to my list, spending hours in my studio now that I'm retired from a lifetime of teaching art. I own a Microsoft Surface Studio tablet which allows me to draw/paint directly on the surface and see the results immediately. I can also use these images as underpaintings for my acrylic creativity. I had a fifty-year retrospective exhibit in 2018 to celebrate my 80th birthday.
