Desiderata metal print by Jacqueline Shuler. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
This classic piece is a real favorite with some very practical advice. Sometimes listed as "St Richard's Prayer" found in a church in 1692, it was actually composed by Max Ehrmann in 1929. It makes an impressive gift for any occasion. Remember what peace there may be in silence...without a cell phone.
I have lettered it in Renaissance Italic, with the title and subtitle in tenth century Celtic
The ornamentation is hand drawn and painted. This piece has red accents; I have another in blue listed.

Since opening Jacqueline Originals in 1971, I have spent most every day in creative activities. I love to draw, paint, do calligraphy and any combination of these skills! Recently, I have added digital painting to my list, spending hours in my studio now that I'm retired from a lifetime of teaching art.
