I love sunrises and sunsets and seeing the sun break through the clouds. Here the sun is just emerging from behind colorful clouds. This can also be considered an image of "Let there be Light"!
This painting was originally created as a unique digital image by me on a Microsoft Surface Studio tablet. It is a signed and numbered image in a Limited Edition of 50. The notation, “1/50” means that it is the first print of only 50 in existence.
Since opening Jacqueline Originals in 1971, I have spent most every day in creative activities. I love to draw, paint, do calligraphy and any combination of these skills! Recently, I have added digital painting to my list, spending hours in my studio now that I'm retired from a lifetime of teaching art. I own a Microsoft Surface Studio tablet which allows me to draw/paint directly on the surface and see the results immediately. I can also use these images as underpaintings for my acrylic creativity. I had a fifty-year retrospective exhibit in 2018 to celebrate my 80th birthday.
